Five weeks from today the Packers open their 2012 season with a game at home against the San Francisco 49ers.
Here’s a game-by-game look at the 2012 schedule and how the Packers have done in head-to-head competition against their 2012 foes.
September 9, vs. San Francisco: The Packers have won the last eight games and 13 of the last 14 games between the two teams. The Pack has won eight straight at home against the 49ers. The Packers last loss at home against S.F. was in 1999, and their last home loss to the 49ers was in 1990.
September 13 (Thursday) vs. Chicago: The Packers have won four straight at home against the Bears. Their last home loss to Chicago was on October 7, 2007. They have played the Bears once on a Thursday (October 17, 1991); the Bears won that game 10-0 in Green Bay.
September 24 (Monday) at Seattle: Packers are 2-2 in games at Seattle. They have a 10-5 advantage in the series. Have played the Seahawks twice on Monday; the Pack lost both contests.
September 30 vs. New Orleans: Green Bay has won nine of the 11 games versus the Saints at Lambeau Field. New Orleans has won three of the last five games between the two teams.
October 7 at Indianapolis: The Packers are 1-5-1 in the last seven games in Indianapolis.
October 14 at Houston: The two teams have played each twice. The Packers won in Houston in 2004; the Texans won in Green Bay in 2008.
October 21 at St. Louis: The Rams hold a 44-46-2 advantage in the all-time series between the two franchises. The Packers have won the last two games in St. Louis. The Packers have won four and lost three to the Rams since 2000.
October 28 vs. Jacksonville: The series is tied 2-2. Only one game was played in Green Bay (2004), which the Packers lost 28-25.
November 4 vs. Arizona: Green Bay is 6-2 since the Cardinals moved to Arizona. They have won eight straight games against the Cardinals played in Green Bay. The last Packers loss to the Cardinals in Green Bay was on October 6, 1949, when the Chicago Cardinals beat the Packers 39-17.

November 18 at Detroit: The Packers are 8-4 in games against the Lions in Detroit since 2000. They have won 12 of their last 13 games against the Lions.
November 25 at New York Giants: The two teams have split the last 14 games played going back to 1985. The Packers have won the last four games played in New York, scoring 38, 35, 34 and 37 points in those contests.
December 2 vs. Minnesota: The Pack has won five of the last six games between the two teams in Green Bay. The Packers are 5-0 in games against the Vikings in December since 2000.
December 9 vs. Detroit: The Packers have won 21 straight games against the Lions in Green Bay. The last Packers loss to the Lions in Green Bay was on December 15, 1991.
December 16 at Chicago: The Packers are 9-4 in Chicago since 2000. The two teams have split the last eight December games they’ve played.
December 23 vs. Tennessee: Green Bay has won only four of the 10 games played between the two teams. The Titans have won the last three match-ups. The last Packers win over Tennessee was December 20, 1998 in Green Bay. The Packers are 1-4 against the Titans in games played in Green Bay.
December 30 at Minnesota: The Packers are 7-5 against the Vikings in games in Minnesota since 2000.
