Following is a look at this week’s NFL schedule and some historical stats on the head-to-head matchups.
Oakland vs. Atlanta: Oakland leads the series 7-5. They have split the last six games played in Atlanta. The Falcons have won the last two games between the two teams, 24-0 (2008) and 35-10 (2004).
Dallas vs. Baltimore: The two teams have played only three times; the Ravens have won all three contests. Baltimore won the last game in the series, 33-24 in Dallas. The Ravens won the two games in Baltimore 30-10 (2004) and 27-0 (2000).
Cincinnati vs. Cleveland: The Bengals have a 42-36 advantage in the series. Cincy won earlier this season at home 34-27 and have won the last four games between the two teams. The Bengals are 7-5 in Cleveland since 2000. The last seven games played in the series have all been decided by 10 points or less, with five of the last seven decided by a touchdown or less.
St. Louis vs. Miami: The Dolphins have won nine of the 11 games in the series. Miami has won the last two games and eight of the last nine. The last Rams win over Miami was in 1976 when the Los Angeles Rams won 31-28.
Indianapolis vs. New York Jets: The Colts hold a 41-29 lead in the series. The Jets have won five of the last eight games. The two teams have split the last six games played on the Jets home field. The Colts won the last game played on the Jets home turf 31-28 on October 1, 2006.
Detroit vs. Philadelphia: The Eagles lead the series 16-12-2. Philly has won six straight against the Lions and have won six of the last seven games played in Philadelphia. The Eagles have scored 121 points in the last three games against Detroit.
Kansas City vs. Tampa Bay: The series is all tied up at 5-5. The last two games in the series were each decided by a field goal. Tampa Bay has won the last three games between the two teams.
Buffalo vs. Arizona: The Bills are ahead 5-4 in the series. Buffalo has won four of the last five. The Cardinals have won three of the last four games played in Arizona. Three of the last four games have been blowouts with the winning teams margin of victory 24 points or more.
New England vs. Seattle: The Patriots have an 8-7 lead in the series. New England has won the last two contests. Seattle has won five of the last seven. The Seahawks won the last game played in Seattle 10-9 (1993).
New York Giants vs. San Francisco: The series is all tied at 18-18. The 49ers have won seven of the last 11 games, but the Giants have won four of the last five. San Francisco has five wins and two losses in the last seven games played in San Francisco.
Minnesota vs. Washington: Washington holds a slight 11-10 lead in the series. Minnesota has won five of the last seven. The Vikings are 4-1 in the last five games as the away team in the series. Four of the last five games have been decided by seven points or less.
Green Bay vs. Houston: The two franchises have played only twice. Houston won in Green Bay; the Packers won in Houston. Both games were decided by a field goal.
Denver vs. San Diego: Denver leads the series 55-48-1. The Broncos have won four of the last five. The Chargers have won four of the last six games played in San Diego. The last three games were decided by three, five and five points.
