NFL Week 7: Head-to-Head stats you need to know

Following is a look at this week’s NFL schedule and some historical stats on the head-to-head matchups.

Tennessee vs. Buffalo: The Titans lead the series 27-16. Tennessee has won the last four games and two of the last three contests played in Buffalo. The Titans have won seven of the last eight in the series. Five of the last six games have been decided by six points or less.

Dallas vs. Carolina: Dallas has a 8-3 advantage in the series. The Cowboys have won the last three games played in Carolina. Dallas has won eight of the last nine games between the two teams.

Baltimore vs. Houston: Houston has never beaten the Ravens in six games. Four of their six games have been decided by a touchdown or less. Baltimore has averaged 31 points in their last four games in the series.

Cleveland vs. Indianapolis: The Browns hold a 16-14 lead in the series. Indy has won five of the last six. Cleveland has scored only 45 points in the last four matchups. The two teams have split the last six games played in Indianapolis.

Arizona vs. Minnesota: Minnesota has won 14 and lost 10 in the series. The Vikings have won nine of the last 11 and have won the last seven games played at home.

Washington vs. New York Giants: The Giants have a 92-64-4 record in this long-time series. The Redskins won both games in the series last year. The Giants have won six of the last eight. The Giants have won three of the last four games played on their home turf.

Green Bay vs. St. Louis: The Rams hold a 46-44-2 lead in the series. Green Bay has won the last three in the series and four of the last five. The Packers have scored 93 points in the last three games. The Pack has won the last two contests played in St. Louis.

New Orleans vs. Tampa Bay: The Saints lead the series 23-17. The two teams have split the last 12 games. The  two teams have split the last six games played in Tampa Bay. The two teams split their two games last season with each team winning on their home field.

New York Jets vs. New England: The Patriots have a slight edge, 53-52-1, in the all-time series. New England has won four of the last six and have won 15 and lost five in the last 20 games in the series. The Pats have won three of the last four games played at home.

Jacksonville vs. Oakland: The Jaguars have won four of the five games played between the two franchises in the series. Jacksonville is 2-1 in the three games played in Oakland. Oakland last beat Jacksonville in 1996.

Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati: Pittsburgh has a 52-32 lead in this division rivalry. The Steelers have won the last four games and nine of the last 11 in the series. The Steelers have also won 10 of the last 11 games played in Cincinnati.

Detroit vs. Chicago: This is the 165th meeting of the two teams. The Bears lead the series 94-65-5. Chicago has won seven of the last eight. The Bears offense has averaged 29.7 points in the last six games. Chicago has won the last four games played in the Windy City.
