Over the nearly four years that I have written this blog, one of the most popular posts has been the one where I note the last time each of the 32 NFL teams were shut out in a game. It seems that as people watch NFL games, if a team is held scoreless past halftime there is a lot of searching to find when that team last was shut out in a regular season game.

This season we have already seen two shutouts, both involving the New York teams: On October 5, the Jets lost 31-0 to the San Diego Chargers. This past weekend, the Giants were shut out by the Eagles, 27-0.

With that in mind, here’s a look at the last time (the season) each of the 32 NFL teams were shut out in a regular season game.

1992: Denver
1993: Indianapolis
1999: San Diego
2001: New Orleans
2002: Baltimore, Carolina, Chicago
2003: Dallas, Houston
2004: Atlanta
2006: Green Bay, New England, Pittsburgh
2007: Minnesota
2008: Buffalo
2009: Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, Jacksonville, Philadelphia
2010: San Francisco, Tennessee
2011: Oakland, Seattle, St. Louis, Washington
2012: Arizona, Kansas City, Tampa Bay
2013: Miami
2014: N.Y. Giants, N.Y. Jets

On the flip side, there have been four NFL teams that have not held their opponents scoreless since 2000… and beyond. Leading that list are the Washington Redskins who have not held their opponents scoreless in a game since 1991.

Here’s a look at the last season each of the NFL teams held their opponents scoreless in a regular season game.
