Cleveland pitcher Corey Kluber on July 4^th became the 12^th pitcher in MLB history to strikeout 10 or more batters in five consecutive games. Kluber had 10 K’s in the Indians 1-0 loss to San Diego that day.

Chris Sale and Pedro Martinez hold the MLB record for most consecutive games with 10+ strikeouts, eight. Sale has done it twice in his career.
