The Houston Texans were the highest scoring team in Week Four with their 57-14 win over Tennessee. It was the highest amount of points scored by the Texans in franchise history, beating the 45 they scored on the same Titans squad on November 30, 2014 in a 45-21 win over Tennessee.
The Texans became the 30th of the 32 NFL teams to score 50 or more points in a regular season NFL game since the merger in 1970. The two teams that have not scored 50 or more points in a regular season game are Arizona and Tampa Bay. (For the record, the Arizona Cardinals did score 50 points in a game, 51 to be exact, but it was a playoff game versus the Packers on January 10, 2010).
In addition to Arizona and Tampa Bay, there are five teams that have not scored 50 or more points in a regular season NFL game this century. The five (last year they scored 50 or more points in a regular season game is noted in parenthesis) are: Dallas (1980), Detroit (1997), Miami (1995), Minnesota (1998) and Tennessee (1990).
Note: The Cowboys did score 52 points in the Super Bowl on January 31, 1993,
