Take a look at the scores from the Packers games this season and you will see an interesting trend… when the Pack has scored 20 or more points in a game they are 4-1; when they scored less than 20 points, they are 1-3.
If we scour the entire league scores through Week #10, there is a similar thread… teams that scored 20 or more points in a game are 125-48 (a .723 winning percentage), those that scored less than 20 points in a game were 21-98 (a .176 winning percentage).
Six teams are undefeated when they have scored 20 or more points in a game this season: Minnesota (7-0), Pittsburgh (6-0), Atlanta (5-0), Tennessee (5-0), Oakland (4-0) and Chicago (2-0). It’s interesting to note that when the above teams score under 20 points, their combined record is 3-22; the Vikings are 0-2, Steelers 1-2, Falcons 0-4, Titans 1-3, Raiders 0-5 and the Bears 1-6.
Four teams have each won two games this season when they scored under 20 points in a contest, Arizona, Carolina, Minnesota and Seattle.
