The Golden Warriors upped their road record to 18-3 (.857 winning percentage) this season with a 108-94 win over the Milwaukee Bucks last night in Milwaukee.
Should the Warriors continue at this pace in road games the rest of this season, they could seriously challenge the NBA record for highest winning percentage in road games in a season. The Warriors set the mark back in the 2015-16 season when they finished the year at 34-7 in away games, an .829 winning percentage.
Four NBA teams have ended a season with a winning percentage at or above .800 in a season. In addition to the 2015-16 Warriors, the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers were 31-7 (.816), the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls went 33-8 (.805) on the road, and the 1972-73 Boston Celtics were 32-8 (.800) in away games.
Since the 2012-13 season, the Warriors have been the NBA’s best road team with a record of 154-72 (.681 winning percentage). Here are the NBA teams that have a winning record in road games since 2012-13…
Golden State, 154-72 .680
San Antonio, 142-86 .623
L.A. Clippers, 128-98 .566
Houston, 121-104 .538
Miami, 119-107 .527
Oklahoma City, 117-109 .518
Toronto, 118-10 .518

There’s a distinct possibility that of the remaining seven NFL playoffs games this season that we will see one (or more) of those games go into overtime. The last NFL playoff game that went into OT was last year’s Super Bowl, a 34-28 win by the New England Patriots over the Atlanta Falcons.
There have been 30 playoff games that went into overtime in the Super Bowl era (since 1966). The Green Bay Packers have played in the most playoff OT games with six… they are followed by the Pittsburgh Steelers with five. The Packers also have the most playoff OT losses with five (no other team has more than three playoff losses).
Here are the NFL franchises with the most playoff OT wins and losses since 1966.
Most playoff OT wins
2-Arizona, Denver, Miami, New England, New York Giants, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Tennessee/Houston
Most playoff OT losses
5-Green Bay
3-Baltimore/Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Seattle
Of the last 10 playoff OT games played, the Packers have been the losing team in four of those games; in fact, the Pack has been on the losing end of five of the last 14 NFL playoff OT contests.
