Here are some of the numbers that helped define the Packers 31-23 loss the Detroit Lions on October 7.

• The Packers have now lost four of their last seven road games against division foes.
• Green Bay is 11-9-1 versus the NFC North in the Mike McCarthy era; they 2-5-1 against the NFC North in their last eight games.
• Aaron Rodgers had a 108.0 Passer Rating in the game. It was the first game in his career that he lost a game to the Lions with a Passer Rating over 100. He had been 11-0 against the Lions prior to this game when he had a Passer Rating over 100.
• Detroit QB Matthew Stafford had a Passer Rating of 101.9 in the game. It was only the sixth career game in 16 starts that Stafford had a Passer Rating over 100 versus the Pack.
• The Lions scored first in the game and have now won four of the last five games against the Packers when they score first in the contest.
• Detroit scored 14 points in the first quarter. The Pack is 4-6-1 versus the Lions in their all-time games against the Lions when they allow Detroit to score 14 or more points in the first quarter.
• Mason Crosby missed a career-record four field goal attempts. Consider this: He has attempted field goals in 156 regular season games for the Packers. He was perfect on his field goal attempts in 95 of those games. In the games where he has missed one or more field goals, the Packers are 44-16-1. Of the 16 games the Packers lost, the points Crosby left off the scoreboard with his misses would have given the Packers the win in only five of those games.
• Green Bay had three turnovers in the game. They have now lost 14 of their last 15 games where they had three or more turnovers. The team is 13-48 (.213 winning percentage) when they have had three or more turnovers since 2000.
• Although the Packers did not get shutout in the game, fans might have been wondering if they would ever score in the game when they were down 24-0 at halftime. The last time the team was shutout in a game was last year when they lost 23-0 to the Ravens. Since 2000, Green Bay has been shutout four times. Cleveland and Miami top the list with 12 and 11 shutouts respectively since 2000. Six teams, Indianapolis, Denver, Minnesota, New Orleans, Baltimore and San Diego, have each only been shutout once since 2000.
• For the second game this season, the Pack did not score in the first half. Since 1966, Green Bay is 14-71-2 (.172) when they do not score in the first half.
• The Packers are certainly having issues in the first half of the game. They are -29 in points the first quarter, -4 in the second quarter (a -33 in the first half) and +27 in the third quarter and +7 in the fourth quarter (+34 in the second half).
• By-quarter scoring for the Packers: 1^st quarter: 13, second quarter: 30, third quarter: 30; fourth quarter: 42)
• Rodgers had 442 yards passing and three TD passes, the fourth time in his career he has reached 400/3 in a game in his career. Drew Brees ranks first with 12 such games. If you add in the fact that Rodgers did not have an interception in the game, it was Rodgers third career game with 400 or more passing yards, three or more TD passes and no interceptions. Only five QBs in NFL history have done that in three or more games: Rodgers (3), Ben Roethlisberger (4), Peyton Manning and Tom Brady (5 each) and Brees (9 games).
• Green Bay had 12 accepted penalties for 112 yards. They are 13-11 since 2006 when they have 10 or more accepted penalties in a game and 8-6 in games since 2006 when they are assessed 100 or more yards in penalties.
• The Packers had 521 total yards to Detroit’s 264. In the Super Bowl era (since 1966), there have been 194 games where one team had more than 500 total yards and their opponents had less than 300 in the game. Teams that get over 500 and their opponents less than 300 are 177-16-1 (.915) in those games. The Packers are 7-1-1 in such games when they get 500 or more total yards.
• The 442 passing yards was the second most in Rodgers’ career (he had 480 on Sept. 15, 2013 versus the Redskins). Green Bay is 3-2 in the five games where Rodgers had 400 or more yards passing. They are 7-8 in the 15 regular season games where Rodgers has had 350 or more passing yards.
• Davante Adams led the Packers receiving corps with 140 yards on nine catches. Green Bay is 3-5-1 when Adams has eight or more catches in a game, and is 4-3 when he has 100 or more yards receiving in a game. The 140 receiving yards was the second most in his career (he had 156 on Nov. 13, 2016 in a game versus the Titans).
• Rookie receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling had seven receptions for 68 yards. He became the fourth rookie to have seven or more receptions in a game this century. The others: Jamaal Williams (2017), Davante Adams (2014) and Ruvell Martin (2006).
• Adams had a receiving TD in his 10^th straight road game. Since 2015, Adams tops the NFL with the most road TD receptions with 17.
• Green Bay has allowed the Lions to score 30 or more points in only seven of the 37 games they’ve played since 2000, but the Lions are 5-2 in those games. The Pack has allowed 30+ points to the Lions in three straight games, losing each.
• Green Bay is 0-6 in the last six games where they scored less than 25 points against Detroit.
