Written and Compiled by Jerry Tapp

Here are some of the numbers that helped define the Packers 38-10 loss to the Tampa Bay Bucs in Tampa Bay on October 18.

  • Aaron Rodgers had two interceptions and no TD passes in the game. In five career games against Tampa Bay, Rodgers has eight TD passes and nine interceptions. Tampa Bay is the only team in the league that Rodgers has more interceptions than TD passes in his career.
  • In games that the Packers have won, Rodgers in his career has 282 TD passes and 37 interceptions, a ratio of 7.6 TD passes to one interception. In games the Packers have lost, Rodgers has 94 TD passes and 49 interceptions, a TD/Interception ratio of 1.92.
  • Game time temperature was 88 degrees. The Packers are 7-8-1 since 2000 in games where the temperature was 80 degrees or higher at game time.
  • Green Bay is 7-7 in their last 14 games that started in the 3:00 to 4:00pm kickoff time.
  • The Packers have now lost five of their last six games following the bye week.
  • Green Bay is 6-7 against the Bucs since 2000. In the last 10 games the Pack has played in Tampa Bay, they are 2-8.
  • Since 2010, Green Bay is 3-12 in games where they score 10 or fewer points.
  • The Pack held a 10-0 at the end of the first quarter. Since 2010, the Packers are now 34-7 in games where they tally 10 or more points in the first quarter.
  • Rodgers two picks were the two Packers turnovers in the game. Since 2016, the team is 6-13 in games where they have two or more turnovers.
  • This was the 16th regular season game in Rodgers’ career where he had two or more interceptions. The team is 7-9 in those games.
  • Rodgers Passer Rating was a dismal 35.4. It was the third lowest Passer Rating in his career; his worst was 34.3 against the Buffalo Bills on 12-14-2014.
  • Tampa Bay had a 28-10 lead at halftime. The Pack has lost 11 of their last 15 games when they give up 20 or more points to the opposition in the first half.
  • The Bucs scored 28 points in the second quarter. It was the 96th time in team history that the Packers allowed an opponent to score 28 or more points in the second quarter. The Packers are 2-94 in those games.
  • The Packers were sacked five times by the Bucs defense. Green Bay is 5-18 since the 2010 season when their QBs are sacked five or more times in a game.
  • JK Scott punted the ball seven times in the game. It was the first time he punted seven or more times in a game since the Pack’s 14th game last year.
  • Aaron Jones had 10 carries for 15 yards, a 1.5 yards per carry average. It was the second worst yards per carry average in Jones career; he had four carries for minus two yards in a game on 12-10-2017 against the Cleveland Browns, a -1.5 average.
  • The Packers offense could muster only 201 total yards. They have lost their last 11 games when they have fewer than 210 total yards in a game.
  • The Bucs did not have an accepted penalty in the contest. It was the first time since 1997 that a Packers opponent did not have a penalty in a game. In fact, in the Super Bowl era (since 1966), there have now been only four times where an opponent had zero penalties in a game versus the Packers.
  • This is the third straight year that the Packers have lost a regular season game by 28 or more points. In 2018 they lost to the Detroit Lions, 31-0; in 2019 it was a 37-8 defeat at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers.
  • Green Bay did not have a takeaway in the contest. The team is now 3-18 since the 2015 season in games where the defense does not have a takeaway.
  • The Packers have a 4-1 record. They have now started 4-1 in a season 12 times in the Super Bowl era. In the previous 11 times that they started 4-1, they made it to the playoffs nine times; twice they won the Super Bowl (1966 and 1996), twice they advanced to the conference title game but lost (2007, 2019). They have started 5-1 six times since 1966.
  • Odd stat of the game: Packers running back Jamaal Williams had two tackles in the game. That was more than defensive standout Za’Darius Smith had in the game; he had no solo tackles and only had an assist on a tackle.
